The Working with Marine Mammals arm of the
SLEWTHS project is a job-training program for people of all
different levels of interest in marine mammalogy. This program
provides education in both hands-on
and classroom settings. |
| Yearly classes
are offered focusing on working with marine mammals. Daily and
weekly internships are available to
any interested person, and there are also some opportunities
available for more in-depth job training volunteer
positions on a selective basis. |
| The successful
completion of two courses and a five-day internship will
earn a Certificate in Beginning Marine Mammalogy
. |
